Customized Slides

One of the first playground equipment that IJslander made was a stainless steel slide. Now, more than twenty years later, we are many slides further and we can rightfully call ourselves expert in this field. Now more and more people find their way to us for tunnel slides as additional attraction, for example, in a restaurant or in the school yard, as escape route instead of a firebreak or for embankment slides. A single or double slide? No problem for IJslander, because we make everything. Like the special slides for a pancake restaurant or a factory for siroopwafels.

    Unforgettable experience

    To offer his customers more than just good food, French chef Thierry Marx placed a tunnel slide at its restaurant ‘La Plage’ at the completely renovated Nice airport. The tunnel slide with its light blue rings fits the restaurant concept perfectly.

    The restaurant has a new dining concept and guests are sitting on deckchairs in the sand, on boardwalks and under palm trees. They can use the tunnel slide to slide downstairs instead of taking the stairs. Why a a slide? Thierry Marx: ‘I wanted to create an unforgettable experience for my customers’.

    Our French agent Pro Urba delivered the order. IJslander delivered the design, development, production and installation of the tunnel slide at the Nice airport.
