To give young people in the neighbourhood the opportunity to play outdoor sports together without disturbing the neighbourhood, IJslander has designed the Citybox, Backstops and Panna fields. The Citybox is a certified stainless-steel sports cage and backstop with a trendy, design look. Ideal for the construction of a multifunctional sports field. And with the launch of the Citybox Arena, this can now also be realized with a smaller budget!

Smart solutions in the Citybox Arena
The new Citybox Arena has been developed with fewer raw materials, but with the same quality as the original Citybox. As a result, production is more sustainable and the entry price is lower.

The sophisticated round back wall provides access to the field through the goal, also for wheelchair users. This rounder shape ensures an optimal ratio of the largest possible field with as little fencing as possible.
The existing gate has been replaced by a removable fence. This ensures that it is still accessible to, for example, a sweep truck.
As standard, the entire Citybox Arena is made of stainless steel with the exception of the synthetic basketball board. Optionally, the basketball board can also be replaced by a stainless steel board.
Applied material is 86% recycled.

Features of the Citybox Arena

The field has a size of 24m x 12m. The 3m high fencing at the rear stops balls aimed at the target and the 1m high fencing on the sides prevents balls from rolling away. The construction consists of tubular frames with sound–absorbing cables. Furthermore, this Citybox has two multigoals and two entry gates. The Citybox Arena comes standard with a basketball hoop at official game height (3,05m). In addition, various accessories are available such as (combi) goals and an Urban Sports Board.
